He wanted to remove financial barriers and equip learners with in-demand skills and placement opportunities, collaborating with corporates and educational institutions to enhance workforce readiness.

While launching Gnixar, we were still in college and held our virtual launch in the college cafeteria. The excitement and heartbeat were intense—we didn’t fully know what we were building. The turning point came when we unexpectedly landed our first B2B project. This boosted our confidence and taught us the realities of startup life. Balancing studies, convincing clients, and working late nights built resilience and shaped our vision.
What are some achievements, milestones, or proud moments you've experienced with Gnixar that you'd love people to know about?
Some proud milestones at Gnixar include launching the “Study Now, Pay Later” scheme, serving over 10+ corporates and 30+ colleges PAN India 2250+ students with impactful training, building a strong community focused on personalized, quality education, and helping countless learners achieve job placements and career growth. Live sessions tackling real student challenges and creating a supportive learning environment have been especially meaningful.
What's one challenge you've faced as a business owner, and how did it shape your outlook on leadership or growth?
One key challenge was gaining trust from students and partners as a new edtech business. Overcoming this required transparent communication, personalized support, and constant improvement of the learning experience. This journey taught the value of adaptability and empathy as a leader, emphasizing the importance of building genuine relationships and a solutions-first mindset to foster long-term growth.
Outside of work, what's one hobby or passion that keeps you grounded or help you in anyway?
Outside of work, a passion that keeps Roshan grounded is engaging with young people—whether by offering career guidance, conducting mock interview sessions, or mentoring them through their placement journey. Interacting directly with aspiring professionals and helping them navigate career challenges is both fulfilling and invigorating, providing fresh perspectives and motivating continuous improvement in educational solutions.

My greatest influence in business has been the real challenges I witnessed in upskilling and job placement, which motivated me to chose the edtech industry and launch Gnixar. I consider myself a role model because I took on these issues to find solutions. Throughout this journey, my family, friends, and everyone who has supported and believed in me have impacted my beliefs and motivation, making them equally significant role models in my life.
