How Ankit Bhati Builds More Than Just Work
A conversation with Ankit Bhati, a learner by habit and creator by choice, building Aurameter, an AI-powered, gamified social platform designed to empower Gen Z. He’s redefining social media to reward real expression, creativity, and emotions, turning engagement into meaningful experiences.
About Aurameter
its an AI powered gamified social media platform built for genz
What inspired you to start Aurameter, and what problem were you hoping to solve?
Being a college student and part of Gen Z, I’ve felt how social media can mess with confidence instead of boosting it. So I wanted to build something real for India’s new generation — where your aura, emotions, and creativity actually matter. That’s how Aurameter started, turning every story and emotion into something that rewards you back
How has your journey with Aurameter changed you personally and professionally?
In just my second year of college, I’ve grown immensely. Internships and startup experiences taught me real-world problem-solving, while leading AuraMeter — managing a team of 20, testing products, and connecting with investors daily — sharpened my skills in team-building, communication, and decision-making. This journey taught me resilience, confidence, and the power of curiosity, showing how much a student can achieve with grit and vision
What's something unique about the way Aurameter operates that you think more people should know?
What makes AuraMeter truly different is how it blends AI, gamification, and emotional intelligence to reward real expression. Unlike other platforms that measure popularity, we measure vibe — every story, emotion, or post earns AuraPoints, turning self-expression into something tangible. Our team constantly tests features, talks to users, and iterates daily, so the platform evolves based on actual user needs. It’s social media built to empower, not just entertain
ANKIT, can you share a memorable story about your journey of building Aurameter or any interesting story that shaped you?
One of the craziest moments was during our first beta test — I had just finished a late-night coding session and realized our AI was giving hilariously weird compliments to users. One story got a 10-year-old ‘vibe score’ saying they were ‘more sparkling than the sun’ 🌞! Instead of panicking, my team and I spent hours laughing, testing, and tweaking the system. That night taught me two things: product-building can be chaotic, and the fun moments are just as important as the milestones.
What are some achievements, milestones, or proud moments you've experienced with Aurameter that you'd love people to know about?
In just my second year, Aurameter has hit some exciting milestones. We’ve tested the platform with 800+ users, visited 10+ colleges, and onboarded 25 campus CEOs to grow our community. I’ve connected with 15+ founders, and we’ve secured 15+ brand deals to build a ready-to-use reward ecosystem. Each step — from user feedback to partnerships — has been a learning experience, and seeing our vision start to come alive for India’s Gen Z is truly rewarding
What's one challenge you've faced as a business owner, and how did it shape your outlook on leadership or growth?
Coordinating product testing, investor calls, and daily operations sometimes felt overwhelming. But it taught me the value of delegation, trust, and clear communication. I realized leadership isn’t about doing everything yourself — it’s about empowering your team, listening actively, and turning challenges into opportunities for collective growth. That mindset has made me more confident, adaptable, and ready to scale.
Outside of work, what's one hobby or passion that keeps you grounded or help you in anyway?
I love connecting with people and learning about their interests — whether it’s through casual conversations, networking, or just meeting new friends. It keeps me grounded, broadens my perspective, and sharpens my communication skills. Understanding people better has also helped me in product design, team management, and building meaningful experiences on AuraMeter. For me, this hobby isn’t just relaxing — it’s a continuous learning process that shapes how I think and lead
ANKIT, do you have a favorite book, movie, or quote that reflects your values or entrepreneurial mindset?
One of my favorite movies is Taare Zameen Par. The line that really sticks with me is about seeing the world through someone else’s perspective and nurturing unique talents. For me, it reflects my entrepreneurial mindset
Who has been your biggest influence or role model in business or life, and why?
My biggest influence has been my father. Growing up, I saw his dedication, resilience, and problem-solving mindset in everyday life. He taught me the value of hard work, integrity, and thinking creatively to overcome challenges. His guidance and belief in me inspired me to take risks, pursue ideas like AuraMeter, and approach leadership with empathy and responsibility. Even today, his lessons shape how I lead, build, and make decisions
Looking ahead, what's your dream vision for Aurameter in the next 5 years?
In the next five years, I see Aurameter becoming India’s next big social media platform — a global product that resonates with Gen Z everywhere. I want it to not just be an app, but a community where emotions, creativity, and real self-expression are celebrated and rewarded. The vision is to build a platform from India that sets global standards, empowers millions, and redefines how social media makes people feel — confident, valued, and seen

If you could give one piece of advice to someone building a startup today, based on your own experience, what would it be?
aurameter isn’t just another social media platform — it’s built to reward real expression. Unlike other platforms that focus on likes, views, or followers, we use AI and gamification to recognize emotions, stories, and creativity. Every interaction earns AuraPoints, turning engagement into something meaningful. On top of that, we’re building India’s first reward-ready ecosystem, connecting users with brands and opportunities.
